Join Ralph at IWF in Atlanta, Georgia, for an hour and a half seminar on Working Plastics in the Woodshop, Friday, August 24, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Sometimes woodworking projects incorporate plastic parts or features. Join us as we investigate the most common plastics used in the woodshop. We'll talk about the bits and blades that are best suited for plastic processing, issues commonly encountered while working with plastics, and basic plastics fabrication and bending techniques. We'll also talk about how 3D printers are changing how woodshops use plastics as well as discussing CNC milling and other technology affecting the plastics and woodworking markets.
